Do you like the idea of 3-D TV and movies but they hurt your eyes or you hate wearing special glasses? Well “proper” 3-D may be coming sooner than you think! Some very smart people at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) are working on it right now.
This appears to all be based on current or nearly current technology. It won’t require special glasses. Coolest of all it actually allows different perspectives from different angles! This could allow all sorts of interesting options like leaving around to see around objects or people in the show. There could be special content or “Easter eggs” around corners. Of course, that would mean while new methods of filming will need to be created to make this all work but the thought of sci-fi style three dimensional videos at are too cool to ignore!
